blah [05 Sep 2007|09:29am] [ mood | sad ] Very emotional week. It's been a little over two weeks since my brother left for Iraq and we haven't heard from him. My grandmother keeps calling asking if I've heard from him and yesterday his friend left me a message asking if I've heard from him... I don't know how I am going to handle another year and 2 months of this non stop waiting to hear from him and worrying about him..... I just hope he's safe. Leave some love!

LIFE IS NUTS!!! [22 Jan 2007|08:26pm] [ mood | tired ] Offically in schoool FOREVER!!! I finally got accepted into the education program!! After 7 semesters and four schools later, I am offical! However, I found out that there is no way in hell that I can student teach next spring because Carlow doesn't accept ALOT of other classes that I have ALREADY TAKEN SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Sooooo looks like I am in college for another year and half.. I'm pretty bummed out about it right now cuz I just want to BE DONE!! I wouldn't mind staying in Pittsburgh but I want to be done with learning how to make Lesson Plans that I will NEVER NEED!! I am ready to move on to the next stage of my life.. Finding a job and figuring out where I am going to be living. I even have the choices narrowed down to New Jersey, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pittsburgh, or some other places in Pennsylvania. But who knows how much this will change in the next year and a half. URGH you know what also sucks.. The amount of freaking debt I will be in by the time this is all OVER!!!! Life is hectic right now.. Trying to plan Plan Plan.. 1.)Figuring out if I am ever going to make it through LINGUISTICS.. which to me is the most boring class EVER!! 2.) Meeting my little sister on Wednesday night!! From big brother big sister organizations..... soooooooo excited. But now I have to come up with all these activites to do with a 6 year old and all the bus routes and cabs to get to the places. 3.) Trying to figure out what classes I can take online this summer to make my next two semesters of class easier. 4.) Figuring out how to balance spending 10 hrs a month with my "little sister" while I will be spending the summer at home working at the YMCA for the FIFTH YEAR.. Which I was upset about at first.. but I am really pumped to work with my kids again and I <3 the staff.. Plus it makes the summer AMAZING.. 5.) Trying to figure out what the roomie and I are doing as far as living situation goes for next year since she graduates in DEC. (go ASH). Plus it has to be planned before August 1st cuz our lease runs out then and then I will have to find another place to move into with someone I don't knowor move into the dorms,  find someway to get all my stuff in the apartment to a storage place, then figure out how to get all of my stuff out of storage. Etc Etc Etc.. Life is complicated.. but I guess it's true what people say.... Everything happens for a reason. So hopefully all this mess works out in the end.. Countdowns 23 days until Valentines day :-) 39 days until Spring Break-- In Dunmore.. (March 2nd-11) 52/53 days until ST.PATRICK's Day!! (everyone better be in Dunmore to go to the Parade OR ELSE.. haha)   Just got news that I am going to my first wedding that isn't a family memeber.. JULIE P is getting married on June 16h.... I am soooo excited for her.. lol I wish I didn't have to dress up to go to the wedding though.. HAHAHA Leave some love!

Now continuing his recuperation at home with his family at his side, Roethlisberger issued the following statement: "In the past few days, I have gained new perspective on life. By the grace of God, I am fortunate to be alive, surrounded by loved ones and lifted by the prayers and support of so many. I am sorry for any anxiety and concern my actions have caused others, specifically my family, the Steelers organization, my teammates and our fans. "I recognize that I have a responsibility to safeguard my health in the offseason so I can continue to lead our team effectively. I never meant any harm to others nor to break any laws. I was confident in my ability to ride a motorcycle and simply believed such an accident would not happen to me. If I ever ride again, it certainly will be with a helmet. "My deepest appreciation goes out to the Steelers organization and my teammates for the compassion they have shown me. The physicians and support staff at Mercy Hospital were simply amazing, and I will forever be grateful for their caring treatment. waiting for corey.. [13 Jun 2006|09:21pm] [ mood | tired ] Work was looonnnnnng today.. lol not bad though the Kids I <3!! We have a kid with autism named Ryan who is one of the best kids.. he is such a sweetheart and when he talks to me he always grabs my hands and then hugs me.. I k<3 my kids.. lol they drew on the sidewalk pictures of me and put I love miss cassie on top of it. lol I took a picture with my camera phone lol and one of them i snow my background on my phone..  lol I am tired and sitting around waiting for Corey to get out of work.. Then Me, Corey, Molly, and chris are going out for the nightly walk! Leave some love!

the hockey game.. [09 Apr 2006|09:01am] Becca and I went to the hockey game last night.. let me tell you it was AWESOME!!! We ended up getting better tickets than her mom so we were 7 rows from the ice. We could see all the players as they were coming in and out of the game as well. It was great!! I didn't see a big giant penguin.. which was a little disapointing because i wanted to get my picture taken with it! The game was even better cuz we won and there were a few fights as well.. LoL that's one of the best parts of the game watching them throw down their sticks and fight until they hit the ground and of course when they get checked into the sides of the ice.. LOVE IT!! When the music was playing I was dancing around like a complete fool.. lol but that's just me! Leave some love!
